How to make or create a theme for your samsung s8500 wave

If you were wondering why there were so few Samsung Wave themes, the reason is pretty simple: there was no theme creator available, but now, that’s changed.






I haven’t tried the software myself, not sure if will run on Wine (A Windows “emulator” for Linux), and I’m not that graphically-talented either. It would be nice to try and play with my pictures, I am into photography, which would allow me to customise the S8500 to my taste – you can do the same.


Samsung has released a couple of screencasts, or video guides to assist artists with making themes for both touch and non-touch phones. First, download the Samsung Wave theme creator, and set it up, and then you can move to the actual modding. Here is a link to the screencasts.
As we have installed and reviewed Samsung Bada themes in the past, I can safely say that the background isn’t the only feature that one can modify. Icons and labels are up for a change too, but I’m not sure how much of a change they can incur.
I would like to see some interesting designs and radical art for the Samsung Wave in terms of themes, so keep them coming!
