How To change samsung wave memory card and save old data

you have 2gb card and want to upgrade it to 8gb or 16gb .

the 2gb card is completely full and have downloaded all the major games and the google maps .

you do not have to download everything back again , so how to be transfered safely without missing out anything ?

2 methods ,


The first method :

all the contacts, videos, music, photos, can easily be backed up from kies. the apps you downloaded from appstore must still be there in your computer (unless you deleted it). you can reinstall them without downloading again.

and the second :

just copy all data from old card to new one from pc.


apps are saved on memory card in other folder.

You cant see apps and games if u connect phone in kies option .

so you have to connect it using memory card option or mass storage .

and then cut all data and paste it on pc.

then change card and copy paste it back .
