Utalk comes to the rescue for everyone missing a Good IM app
how to use a good im app
Firstly, in my knowledge, this information was first shared by Sisqo, and was conveyed to me by Irvinehooi and Marts. I am only putting it up here.
For everyone who cannot use the Social hub premium yet, this is a perfect solution. It is a java app but it runs in the background so you can stay online + it will notify you if someone messages you when the app is minimized ! (One of the major lacks I found while using other java IM apps).
Okay so here is how to do it.
First, download Palringo.rar and extract its files into a folder.
Then use sTune and connect your wave to your PC/Laptop.
Navigate to the directory AppEx/User/Java/Hidden Games/Parlingo. Now copy Palringo.jar and Palringo.jad from the archive to that directory (You will have to drag and drop files into the sTune window after navigating to this directory), the other 2 images are not important. Then start IM and see that palringo will not be there anymore.
It is leaps and bounds ahead of useless palringo. Works flawlessly and has more accounts that you can add !!
Hope it helps. Thanks to the wonderful people who discovered this way. I can finally stay online on IMs without keeping the app maximized and I even get notifications in the notifications bar.
